Moreland Hills is located 14 miles east of Cleveland, home to approximately 3,500 residents, and expands 7.23 square miles.

Moreland Hills is rich in both history and acclaim - history was made in Moreland Hills with the birth of James A. Garfield, the 20th President of the United States. The Garfield Memorial Cabin, located near the Village Hall, is a replica of the original cabin in which he was born in. This cabin draws visitors and history buffs alike, annually.

In recent history, Moreland Hills has received some outstanding accolades including being voted the safest suburb by Cleveland Magazine in 2015 along with receiving national recognition by being rated the second best suburb to raise a family in Cleveland by Niche (a national analysis and ranking firm).

With lush rolling hills and large lot sizes, Moreland Hills is a lovely place to put down roots. The residents of Moreland Hills are served by two school districts, dependent on where you are located, Orange City Schools and Chagrin Falls Exempted Village Schools. Both districts receive honors of high academic achievement.
